15 Black Demilune Tables for Any Budget (By Price)
Happy Friday, friends! I had grand plans to share an outdoor tile installation post with you today, but recovering from surgery has been slower than I expected. Therefore, I’ve been doing a lot of scrolling in bed, rather than roaming around with my camera in hand. Three years ago, I shared a fun demilune table makeover with you. Anyone remember this charming console? The day before my surgery (on a whim), I decided to pull the table out of the basement closet and bring it upstairs. I had always envisioned it would live in our entryway, as it’s small and easy to style… a great space filler for tight areas! Once again, I’m reminded how versatile these tables can be. I love that they’re meant to be pushed against a wall for an effortless vignette. While our entryway still has loose ends to tie before the big reveal, I’ve officially started styling. Click through for 15 black demilune tables for any budget… organized by price!

If you’ve missed any of our entryway renovation, be sure to check out the following posts (in chronological order below) to catch up. We’ve got paint and art installation left on our to-do list, but we’re nearing the end.

I’m excited to photograph the finished space for you soon… otherwise, you’re going to see it this holiday season because I’m eager to string up garland along the stair railing. Speaking of- I just made our holiday collection live at Tuesday Made. I know it’s early, but it always sells out (just a heads up)! Onto demilune tables…
1. Black Camden Table
While the top of this demilune table has a cherry finish, it would be an easy surface to paint black… or better yet- shop for a stone remnant to cover the top for a designer look on a budget!
2. Half Moon Console Table
If you’re not into the silver hardware on this demilune, it would be an easy swap! I’d find something vintage and brass for an elevated look. For $75, it’s a great little table!
3. Tinsley Console Table
This is a timeless looking demiliune! I like that is has clean, traditional lines… a bottom shelf, and some higher end details on a budget.
4. French Country Half Round Table
Very similar to the table above, this classic console is perhaps my favorite from the entire bunch. It’s another affordable option!
5. Butler Console Table
I always trust Butler furniture brand, and the price is a steal for one of their pieces. I absolutely adore the unique shape of this tiny table!
6. Shamiera Console Table
If you’re looking for a larger table with storage, this one measures 52″ long… it’s a great size and would take up quite a bit of wall space. I could see it installed beneath large scale artwork with a gallery light.
7. Traditional Demilune Table
This table is most similar to the black demilune that lives in my formal living room. It feels updated, yet is an option that will never go out of style.
8. Half Moon Entryway Table
With three drawers for plenty of closed storage, this larger demilune has a beautifully textured ribbed detail on the drawers that gives this piece a nice contrast.
9. Console Table with Marble Top
You know I love any piece of furniture with a marble or stone top. This demilune is no exception. From the beautifully turned legs to the simple brass knob, this is another designer top pick.
10. Vintage Ethan Allen Demilune
If you’re looking to go the vintage route, I stumbled upon this vintage Ethan Allen demilune. It seems to have a glossy sheen, which would be fun to style with books, florals, or your favorite candle.
11. Fluted Iron Console
Never underestimate an iron or brass demilune! These tables are equally as gorgeous when they’re not constructed of wood. I love the finial detail on this table, which lives on the lower stretcher. What a striking design element!
12. Woodbridge Demilune
With bobbin legs and two drawers for closed storage, this demilune skews on the larger size- measuring almost 50″ in width.
13. Theodore Alexander Table
If you’re looking for a super high-end option (heirloom quality), you can’t go wrong with this Theodore Alexander demilune table. With gilded capped feet and solid mahogany construction, it’s one that will certainly withstand the test of time.
14. Pair of Antique Demilune Tables
I managed to dig up a pair of antique tables! These Swedish demilune tables were constructed circa 1890. I do love the idea of styling a pair of these. They’d be great flanking a door, anchoring each other on opposite sides of a room, or used as bedside tables!
15. Black Walnut Folding Demilune
Of course, the most expensive option comes from one of my favorite designer sites to browse… 1st Dibs. Made in Italy in the 1960’s, this black walnut table with ebonized beech wood, actually folds into a round table- so it can be styled either way! Designed by Paolo Buffa, it’s one of those dream pieces.
FAQ
I thrifted this one. I think it was a Facebook Marketplace find- or maybe it came from a yard sale? I believe it was only $10, but it definitely needed some elbow grease. Check out my demilune table makeover here, for before images!
Absolutely! I love painted and wood tones as well. A lot of the vintage and antique ones have beautiful wood grain or natural stone tops. This is an older post, but is still very relevant- featuring a roundup of demilune tables of all styles, sizes, and colors.
As I previously mentioned, they’re one of the easiest tables to style because of their size and unique shape! They’re idea for smaller spaces, tight rooms, or corners… the end of a hall, a bathroom, a stair landing, an entryway, etc. I like to style them with a lamp or light fixture, art installed above, books, a candle, or a catchall- functional and beautiful items!

I hope you enjoyed this post! While it wasn’t what I initially had planned for today, I definitely had fun virtual shopping. Is there anything you’re on the hunt for I can help you source? Let me know in the comments below! I’m hoping to catch up on comments this weekend, by the way. What is everyone up to? I’m still taking it easy. I’ve got one more solid week of rest before I’m released to drive again, and then four weeks after that of taking it easy, while listening to my body. I’m practicing patience. Here’s to a sunny weekend ahead!
