Tuesday Made Sale (Up to 80% Off!) - roomfortuesday.com

Over the summer, we hosted our annual Tuesday Made warehouse sale, and while I thought we did an amazing job cleaning house… we still have SO much left on our shelves. Whether you’re looking for classic glassware, vintage rugs, or new art arrivals, we’ve been restocking and adding some new things for fall… all while trying to mark down items that won’t be making the move with us. As always, we truly appreciate you shopping small. I know it has been a difficult season for many small businesses and shop owners, so I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for any orders you’ve placed. I feel lucky to have so many wonderful and supportive people in our corner! Thanks friends.

These are just a handful of my favorites from the sale, but I’m continually adding more. Some of you were also surprised to see we had been marking down vintage decor as well. Basically, if it’s breakable- we’d rather not move with it. Ha! Fair, right? Anyway… I hope our loss is your gain. It’s also giving us the opportunity to reset while refreshing our homes for fall.

10 Quick Summer to Fall Styling Tips

Tuesday Made Sale (Up to 80% Off!) - roomfortuesday.com

As we inch our way into fall, here are 10 quick and easy styling tips to begin to transition your home for the season ahead.

  1. Gather inspiration – Take note of fall vignettes you find appealing… mark magazine pages, dust off your interior design books, or start pinning. Shoulder season is the perfect time to gain inspiration to implement in your home for the season ahead. It also helps excitement and creativity build!
  2. Give your house a deep clean – I always give our home a deep clean before I reset for each season. It’s nice to have a blank canvas and start fresh.
  3. Swap your candles – Not only do I enjoy swapping my candles to enjoy a seasonal fragrance, but I also like to trade out my tapers for a seasonally appropriate color.
  4. Focus on throw blankets – Begin to layer additional throw blankets or swap lightweight summer linens for slightly heavier cable knit cotton or wool throws.
  5. Begin to integrate darker colors into your home vignettes – Make subtle decor changes that reflect the season… darker vases, items with seasonal colors, heavier textures, darker textiles, and pieces that feel fresh for fall.
  6. Bring out any lamps you’ve stored away – As it begins to get darker earlier, layer lamps for a cozy and inviting aesthetic.
  7. Focus on the kitchen – In the heart of your home, take inventory of your kitchen & serveware, noting anything that may be missing, restyle your shelving and countertops using woods & warm tones (like copper), and mark recipes you’d like to try this autumn. Let’s face it- fall food is the best!
  8. Restyle your coffee table – A simple coffee table reset can be exactly what you need to kick off a new season. Replace your books with seasonally appropriate options, add a favorite candle, and integrate a fall plant, branch, or floral.
  9. Swap summer florals for textural branches – Store faux plants that better suited for summer and replace them with textural branches or plants of darker hues.
  10. Reset your summer planters or front porch for the season ahead – Make a statement with the entry to your home, reworking your planters, swapping front door wreaths, or add lanterns or candles for an autumnal look.

FAQ

Which classic woven rug is your favorite from the Tuesday Made shop?

I honestly love them all, but I’m partial to the Florence Sisal Rug. It lives in my home office and most recently- we installed it as our stair runner. It’s extremely durable and timeless!

When does the Tuesday Made sale end?

We don’t have an end date for our sale… as soon as everything is sold, it’s gone for good. Therefore, if you see something you love- grab it quickly! You can always peruse the sale section to see new additions.

Do you have a promo code for the sale items?

No promo code is needed for this one! I’ve just manually been adding things to our sale section in the Tuesday Made shop.

  1. Good morning! We’ve *just* barely had a tiny dip in temps this week thanks to a bit of rain and clouds. Such a welcome relief! We’re not quite ready to haul out the hoodies and molasses cookies, but soon. Your beautiful images are certainly inspiring autumnal thoughts! How adorable are those window boxes with the baby pumpkins?😍 As for the impending office transition, you’ve definitely been on my mind. Moving is such a chore!☹️ I do love a reset. Nothing beats the excitement of a fresh new space to organize and personalize. But packing…sob. Here’s hoping that these incredible deals will empty those shelves! Now’s the perfect time to get a headstart on holiday shopping (and hosting essentials!). I, for one, would also adore a Noteworthy post! Who doesn’t crave a good girlfriend catchup? (As a social media consumer, can I just say that algorithms and SEO certainly don’t feel like they’ve got me in mind.) In the meantime, I’ll peruse the Tuesday Made sale and anticipate patio tile updates! Let’s have an amazing Pizza Friday and enjoy a glorious it’s-still-summer weekend, Sarah! 💜☀️🍕

    1. Sarah Gibson says:

Good morning, Peggi! Same here… that tiny dip made all the difference though! It had been so hot, I’ll take it. I’m ready for hoodie season, but I’m also hanging onto summer. I’m going to miss weekends on the water. That has become my favorite ritual this summer. I haven’t decorated for fall yet (these photos are from last year), but they’re slowly getting me excited to do so. Moving is always ick, but it has been nice to clean house and get organized. I’ll add some Noteworthy posts to the calendar! I’m with you on SEO… it’s been a tough transition for me, but a necessary one (unfortunately). Hope you had a fabulous weekend!

  2. Good morning Sarah! Let me start by saying, HOW SMART!!! When you said ‘if it’s breakable we don’t want to move with it’, I felt that, lol. I can’t imagine what an arduous task moving the office will be- but cheers to a new leg of the adventure, and hopefully a great move, all around. Will the new office need to be renovated/updated? On another note, I have missed the Noteworthy series, and you get a resounding ‘yes please!’ from me. I love the more casual format, and chatting in the comments about all of our life updates. The Gibsons have a jam packed weekend ahead- not unlike us. My last major lighting components arrive today for the front room, and I am thrilled to see them in person. I ordered two of the 24” Conical Drum Pendants from Rejuvenation to swap awkward can lights into regular fixtures. The way this swap is going to breathe new life into our dismal hallway… I’m excited. We also have more of the garden project on the list. I’m hoping by the end of the weekend I’ll be ready for planting. All great things over here, and I’ll be following along this weekend as you guys kick off the exciting part of the outdoor kitchen. Happy Pizza Friday everyone!!

    1. Sarah Gibson says:

Good morning, Lauren! I’m playing catch up today. Ugh, moving… a chore I absolutely loathe. Our entire office is filled with breakables, so it should be interested- to say the least. Hah! The office we’re moving into is new, but not exactly our aesthetic. I’m not exactly sure how much we’re allowed to change, but fingers crossed we can make it our own. I’ve missed Noteworthy posts- I’ll have to add some back into the rotation. How is the front room coming along? I hope your Rejuvenation fixtures look good and the garden is coming along! We spent all weekend working on the window and checking things off our to-do list before we head to Lake Powell later this week. Hope you have a good one!

  3. I’m interested in Noteworthy!

    1. Sarah Gibson says:

Noted! Thanks for letting me know :)

  4. So looking forward to my new things and very happy to support a women-owned small business! Thanks, Sarah!

    1. Sarah Gibson says:

Thank you SO much, Michelle! Really appreciate that :) Truly!

  5. Viktorija says:

    Yes to more Noteworthy!

  6. Yes, please, more Noteworthy!
